Jared Williams is caught between two worlds. Real Earth and Shadow Earth.

Two years ago, he volunteered for a cancer research study, only to be experimented on against his will by the Alliance, a group intent on taking over Shadow Earth by creating a shifter army. Once human, Jared’s DNA was irrevocably modified. The paranormal cops, Elite Magical Protection Force, destroyed the facility and all records regarding the experimentation.

Recruited by Captain Jor’dan, Jared now works to protect humanity from paranormal threats.

Lara Adams is a librarian who finds comfort in her daily schedule while surrounded by books. At the end of her shift, a surprising find propels her into a world of danger and deceit that she never knew existed. She will need to find her inner strength in order to survive the trials ahead.

The Alliance is starting up their experiments again and Jared is intent on stopping them at all costs. He must face the demons of the past to save himself, Lara, and the future of Shadow Earth.
